Back in May, we reported that instant messaging service Meebo was reaching 10 million monthly users via its network of partners sites that use it for powering their own IM features. Since then, that network has swelled to 17.5 million monthly users (and more than 50 million in total), the latest of which, Playlist.com , just launched its implementation yesterday. Now, the company is looking to monetize this significant reach through advertising. In addition to full-page background ads on its own site, Meebo recently released an ad network across its partner sites, where they sell and serve ads and share revenue with the partner
